What Do Others Have To Say About The Back Pain Workshop?
"My recent visitation to Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists was due to severe lower back and sciatic nerve pain. This pain significantly limited me in my daily and recreational activities. I went back to Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists primarily so I could work with Shawn Grant. I was given a program of exercises and stretching procedures to do at home and at the gym I go to. These have helped me resume my daily activities which includes golf, walking, landscaping, and bowling. Because Shawn explained in detail what each exercise would do, I was better able to get more benefit. The ability to change up the rehab program was a major positive aspect of my rehab."
"I was unable to stand for a significant amount of time. The pain in my lower back and legs was intolerable. Normal everyday activities became more and more of a struggle as my condition worsened. I had tried many other remedies from over-the-counter medication, as well as numerous other physical therapists and found little to no relief. When I went for my first appointment with Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists, I met with Shawn Grant and he explained the course of action for my condition. I felt like maybe this is the one place that can help me. Two weeks into my PT visits, I began to notice a substantial decrease in my overall pain. Today, I can say that my quality of life has been restored. I will be forever grateful to Shawn Grant and the staff at Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists."
"I had two back-to-back PT sessions with Drew. Originally, I came in for Vertigo. He did the Epley Maneuver several times over the course of treatment and we did a number of exercises to improve my balance and work on my posture. After I completed those sessions, I went to my orthopedic physician because my back went out. He gave me two shots of Cortisone in my back suggest PT. Because of my success with Drew, I came back to Plymouth PT Specialists, even though the doctor has a PT team associated with his practice. Drew has helped with exercises which really eliminated the pain I was feeling in my lower back and more importantly taught me ways to move and lift things so I can avoid future occurrences of back pain. Drew is a very personable young man who is very competent in helping you and truly cares that you are doing the right exercises in the right way. I really appreciate all he has done."
